There are a wide variety of volunteer opportunities open to you: some require long term commitment and skills, and others are short term or single events. Even if you do not see anything below that suits you, please call us. We would be glad to see if we can find a place for you in the RMM's volunteer program.

Volunteers are needed to set up and staff our Client-Choice Food Pantry to families and individuals who have permanent housing but need assistance with food each month.
(Volunteers please plan to arrive before 10:00am)

Time: 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
RMM’s Teen Center is a service learning community-centered program for youth in grades 6-12. Friday programming is centered on providing a safe space for at-risk teens to gather for encouragement, entertainment, as well as character-building discussion and activities. A meal will be provided. Volunteers are needed to serve as activity leaders, general chaperones and assist with meal. Criminal background check is required.
PAGE TURNERS AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (during school year)
Time: 3:00 pm - 5:30 pm
Page Turners is a facet of RMM’s wider Out-of-School Time programming for youth in our community. Page Turners is a literacy based after school program for children in grades 1-5. Students receive homework assistance, subject-based tutoring and engage in a variety of enrichment activities aimed at exposing them to various opportunities and widening their perspectives. Volunteers will assist program directors in student pick up, snack distribution, tutoring, library and enrichment time. Criminal background check is required.
HELL'S KITCHEN FARM PROJECT
Volunteer Days: Thursdays & Saturdays (seasonal)
Volunteers are needed to plant, harvest and maintain rooftop farm. Individuals and volunteer groups are welcome. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information about group opportunities.
WINTER CLOTHES CLOSET
Days: Mondays, November - March
Times: 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm
Volunteers are needed to help distribute winter clothing to clients in need.
Days: Thanksgiving and Christmas Day
Time: 11:30 am - 3:00 pm
Volunteers are needed to help serve a warm holiday meal to community members who may not have a meal on these special days.
